Here is the Byte with the mast up, but the sail not up.

Different than the Laser, the Byte has a main halyard for raising the sail. The mast can be stepped before putting the main on. The main has a sleave which has zipper for wrapping around the mast.
Thank you. I fixed that by removing the extra period from the end of the link on craigslist.

Take a look at philip.Byte/philip.12824 and you will see one of the differences in how Byte's are rigged compared to Lasers. The even bigger difference is that the Byte is a little smaller than a Laser. It is optimized for people racing weighing 150 lbs.

I really thought this was a lazer hull! Is it from the same maker? In college I had an old Lazer - hull number 301!
