Japanese "home style" comfort food establishments often serve food like this.. i was hunting around my area with kayo and we found this small dinky little greasy spoon-ish dinner... dirty tables, and a hand written menu on the wall (no paper menu) and two countryfolk seeming owners... they were nice enough, talked with us while we ate the meal... although some of their questions towards me were a bit racist, but i just didnt care, it was more niave racism, instead of them trying to be mean... good food
