I just got a JP-8 and am crazy about it. The move (for me) from four hybrid voices (PEK) to eight fully analog voices is such a rewarding one. Check this clip. The Jupiter's arpeggiator is engaged with a fairly simple sound. I lodge in hold position and go two hands on the filter section to mod the sounds, with occasional alterations to VCA envelope as well. There are even parts where it sounds like Pac-Man eating a Power Pill. The way the sliders work is so much more natural to me than knobs. Plus, I can see where they're all at before I change them - can't do it on the PEK. The envelopes are analog too, so the alterations have a much more organic feel. Sorry it's a static Fminor7 chord - that doesn't change. In fact, I never touch the keyboard at all in this demo. But if you want to hear a good example of the possibilities of the filters (both 12dB/oct and 24dB/oct resonant low-pass) - here ya go.
