The 4.5 Minute Walking Distance to Work
I decided to take a picture a minute on the way to work this morning, I was too ill last night to contribute at the right time. I walk for our small apartment over a gym over the bridge past the Ajumma (extraordinarily strong women who push very large carts all over the city) into the little area of Jung Gok to arrive at my school.
Tomorrow this walk will be history for me as we are moving.

A picture a minute really works.
I'm surprised by the differences in landscape and infrastructure in such a short distance. I think I'd like to live in a city where they think it is important to embed a flower pattern in the sidewalk.
I'm also interested by the idea that since it was your last day of walking to work from that apartment, that you were, in a way, removing yourself/objectifying the walk/distancing both yourself and the landscape in the act of taking the photos.
