If one wishes for other ideas ranging from weird fashion to reversing diseases to anti pirating container ships, click on the user name at each site to view many other posts, of course do not believe what i post but if it might help pass it on to those you know whom can invent it.
Remember the idea is not LEDs in the sneaker that believe it or leave it i created in 1977 for a HS plays shoes and even in placed on a bra as a joke on the lead girl in the play as the LED was not visible to the human eyes but was visible in most video cameras so it looked like her "head lights" where blinking. Back to the sneaker idea it's to use light emitting thread or thin thread of fiber optics so the thread acting as the CANVAS changes colour and if created as a shoe sleeve one can place over an shoe to create different colour pattern.
