I don't know this guy, but I did talk to him for a short while. This was on the road doen to Santa Fe, NM, just north of Las Vegas (not the gambling town). We were stuck here for 1.5 hours. A lady ahead of us rolled her van - supposedly a tire blew. The Flight For Life helicopter came, but it was too late.
