Hell, when I was in High School, I would take any job I could get, I started filling out applications a week before my 16th birthday. Before that, I got my work permit at 14years old. I just love this song. It isn't bgotry, it is a fact of life. I was born in the US, a miltary brat whose father served this country for 20 + years, was even stationed in Vietnam. I have worked in Ga since I was old enough to start working. Medical problems caused me to get fired after 9 years in the same job, yet I get NO assistance and am on the verge of loosing everthing I own because there are no funds available at this time. I can't find anyone to hire me because of my medical problems, I have been searching for almost a year now.......there are many days when I can't even get out of bed because of nerve damage. Yet the illeagles walk in and are given everything they need to live off of, yet I am loosing everything I have worked so hard to get.......as a single parent, on my own, without ANY assistance. I qualified based on income, but because I worked for the state, I never got a penny.....and I still can't get any because the funds are not available. THis is funny but not fact. Mexicans are needed to do our low wage jobs that Americans will not do since we are better educated getting better jobs. The unemployment rate is under 5%. That means 95% of Americans are working. As a volunteer to the homeless I have noticed most of the unemployed have a drug, alcohol or mental promblem. I also have seen another promblem called lazyness. I might be selfish for wanting mexicans here but if americans picked our crops we would be paying double for most of our food products. The bright side to Illegals who pay into our social security is that they are not able to pull it back out when they retire.

Funny, but true....it's not so much jobs that Americans won't do, but jobs that Americans won't do for what an illegal alien will. Employers are exploiting illegals by paying sub par wages,not deducting taxes or social security, and not providing work comp. There is a guest worker program in place, but most employers do not use it because they must first certify that there are no qualified Americans to do the job,pay prevailing wage,deduct taxes, pay matching funds to social security, and provide work comp. They have found that it is cheaper to hire an illegal and pay the paltry fine if and when they are caught. As long as this practice continues, we will have illegal immigration.

the time is long past to start enforcing the employment laws concerning the hiring of illegals, and heavily fining those companies that hire them as well as jailing those people in the hiring department that knowingly hire illegals. When the jobs dry up, most illegals will return to their country of origin, and those that don't will eventually be arrested and deported.

.I did not laugh - this was not funny and it isn't really true.
I cannot get anyone to weed, haul things, dig and other manual labor jobs. Not teenagers - they can't leave their games and My Space. No black or white person will do these jobs. I hire Mexicans. I pay them $10. a hour cash - THEY WORK! And they are nice and they smile and they are happy to work.
To solve the immigration problem. Get our teenagers to work, the wellfare people, job pools for the unemployed that say they can't find a job. Have Mexican guest workers and let them pay taxes. Tax the money they send home to Mexico. DO NOT give them welfare, or food stamps or make their chidren citizens.
I have a great idea. Stop our companies from sending our jobs to China and India. The "cheap" goods cost tons of jobs- closed factories, even the service industry is suffering. And we have to deal with people that can't speak good English and put us on hold to "research this ". And now we are finding out that things made in China are killing our pets, children and friends, because they cut corners and use inferior products. And to top it all off - China and India are using up the gas and making it more expensive. So everything is getting more expensive. Wake up America - quit sending our jobs overseas! Then we will have jobs and the Mexicans can still pick the veggies and fruit and do landscaping. And send home some money for their families to eat.
Let's boycott goods that are made in other countries - Oh - that means - no clothes, no prescriptions, no shoes, no TVs, ---- what can we buy??? I bet if we started, there would be a turn around. You can blame Walmart for alot of this. The very people that shop there - lost thier jobs because the manufacters had to cut more costs to keep Walmart as a customer.

Nobody on the planet has any control over what is their skin color or where they are born. Immigration laws need to be respected, however. I cant blame folks for wanting a better life, everyone from everywhere wants to come here, but they need to reform their own country's policies.

This nonsense that illegals do jobs that americans won't do is just that, nonsense. All these jobs that are now hiring illegals were operating before the illegals but they paid a wage to Americans. In many large cities they have taken over certain trades and seldom hire american workers. This is not about race but about survival. They do not incorporate into the american system, they steal it and all illegal children born in America become legal. This is not about the mexican people. I am sure there are sad stories motivating the influx of illeagals. Apathy is not a cure. This is a country founded on laws, and it is time to enforce ALL laws. Politicians need to stop writing laws just to add points to their slate. Enforce those already on the books, including immigration laws. We must respect our borders & return immigration levels to pre 1970's levels immediately, else we will spiral downwards. We can better help 3rd world countries by helping them help themselves in their OWN countries. The idea that Americans won't do the jobs that Mexicans do begs the question, "who did these jobs before the big invasion?" I picked many a strawberry, delivered papers, and mowed many a lawn in my youth. Ever consider that maybe all the cheap labor suppresses the pay rate, and that maybe without all this cheap illegal labor we would start paying our own youth enough to make it worth their while? At any rate we need to get a handle on the illegals because one day this enormous underclass will bite us in the butt. Does anyone really think that the Americanized children of these hard-working illegals are going to work in the fields as did their parents? NO. We are simply adding Barrios to our Ghettos and one day we will see the absolute folly of our politically correct ignorance. Frankly I took this for what it was a very funny work of art. All art work is based on truth from the artist's point of view. I am not racist and it did not offend me as it spoke of social and economic truths that some people prefer avert thier eyes from unless it affects them personally. Wake up it is affecting everyone personally in one way or another! To be quite frank minimum wage where I live was only just raised to the federal wage limit as of july 1st we are the lowest paid workers in the U.S. and we don't have the "problem" of mexican invasion taking over our state because we don't make enough money for them to want to come here! I guess we are just lucky we can still keep our job's at Wal Mart cleaning the parking lot and scrubbing the motels toilets! I found this to be a very hilarious spoof and laughed my underpaid ass off! wish I could get $8.00 an hour like the mexican illegals do! This was great! I just wish I could get a copy of it so I wouldn't have to wait for it to load.....slow dial-up.....any time I want to listen to it. There isn't really much that I can add that hasn't already been said. I do get tired of of the old saw "If they weren't here to pick our produce the prices would go up". As far as I can tell they've always picked the produce as seasonal guest workers. I have certainly noticed that when they started flooding across the border by the thousands, that is when the prices on produce started sky-rocketing. Go figure. And this is NOT a race issue; it is about national soveriegnty. mexican is no more a race than American is. This about being invaded by another nation. They know if they came at us with an armed force they'd be met at the border by what military we have left here. What better way to take over another nation than by sending unarmed women, children and men to invade, colonize and conquer. I will go to my grave before I'll learn spanish so they can comunicate with me in my own ENGLISH-SPEAKING country. Other immigrants (and I don't consider the invaders from south of the border immigrants) from non-English speaking countries had to learn the language or struggle.

This is the funniest thing that has come along in awhile. It is true but sad, they come here and work for next to nothing and drive our wages down so that we can't make ends meet anymore. They have taken over just about every aspect of the construction industry and builders are getting just what they pay for. Things start falling apart and are put in out of square and just all around poor jobs are being done.

I don't mind doing menial work for whatever the minimum wage is. I just need a job. I lost my job due to cut-backs and have been unable to find one since. Let's see...I can't get a customer service job because, guess what, I don't speak SPANISH. I have tried all the minimum wage jobs too...guess what, can't get that job either...over-qualified. Also, to make it even worse, my husband had to find another trade (he is a carpenter with 13 years experience) because in GEORGIA the Mexicans HAVE taken over the entire industry. You might be able to get a lead position but, yet again, you would have to speak SPANISH. Therefore, I resent any American that calls us lazy. When you are ready to hire a hard working, loyal American I'm here in GA because like a previous post, I have lost everything I worked my whole life for and it is insane because all I want to do is work.
Ya know what else???.....I VOTE!! Maybe one day it will make a difference.
