I got to visit my hometown, Lipa, Batangas last weekend. I had the best "foodtrip" in their night market, a haven for all street food lovers. And now, I just can't stop eating Palitao, a native delicacy made from boiled rice cakes. This is usually topped with sesame, coconut, and sugar. I love it's slight chewiness and texture, complemented by the flavor of coconut and sweetness of sugar. A few pieces makes me really full, so it's really worth my money! It only sells for P6 per piece. :)
