For me, no dream is alike. Some dreams don't feel like dreams at alll, they re-inact an event that occuried in my life, or even a prediction of events that will occur in the future. To some i may be unfortunate, but I do not enjoy fantasy. I was never allowed to watch television as child, so cartoons and superheros are not highly unlikely in my dreams. I don't enjoy fantasy reading or watching fantasy movies like Lord of the rings. Instead I dream of my friends, my family and a realist future. Although, they tend to be more glamorous then the future i will most likely have. Commom characters- my boy friend, my co-workers, my peers and my family. Settings- action packed events like birthday parties, weddings and huge social scenes. Since I am a waitress, and work 40 hours a week, I dream o waiting tables and my tables being my worest nightmare. Rude, insulting and horrible tippers. My dreams are merely the cilmax of a long story. Characters appear will no history of their pasts, but knowledge is understood. Events happen, then end no closure no explanation. Although, I have one superpower. Have you ever had a dream that you were kinda awake in, and when something happens and you don't really like how it turns out, your just rewind your dream and put a better ending? well that i what I do

" I hate children"

ACT 1-

ME- (glaring across the room at a family where three screaming and disruptive children are seated) "not everyone loves your children, pawning them off on other people. Do i look like I want your kid. Well no I don't" ( I look absolutely disguisted. I look at my friend to reply)
Friend- wow nic, why don't you tell me how you really feel ( she has a grin on her face, trying to lighten the mood and distract my feelings with a scarastic response.)
Me- well gosh, why must people insist on bringing their children to a nice resturant. I come here to enjoy the night, not listen to those loud screaming kids that are covered in food. Way to make me lose my appetite. I swear as long as I live I will always hate kids ( with no reassurance necesary, i look down and to quickly eat my meal)

Act 2 (Two years later)

(Relaxing in bed, wondering what would come of the day)
Me- Hey babe! want to go pick up Brady today a day care? ( My face glowed, saying the name brady brings excitement in my voice.)
Joe- of course, I love your nephew. ( delighted by the thought of spending the afternoon with Brady)
Me- I know. Isn't he the cutest thing in he world. He is like a little person. AND SMART! ( realizing that this special child had a large space in my heart)
Joe- I know. did you see his face when he put his feet on my lap the other day? he knows he's funny ( laughing)

Act 3

Joe- babe, you still don't want to have kids? ( disappointed, waiing for a negative response, he looks over at me while we eat dinner)
Me- Who said that? I do now. I used to hate them. But afte being with Brady, I guess my mom was right. You do have a much greater tolerance when they are your own, or close to it ( hopeful, full of life and excitement)

Sometimes my dreams end, other times they don't. I wake up, and wonder what was the end. even try to make myself go back to sleep. Do dreams really predict what you want, because it’s your sub-conscious

I don't think is particular story worked well with the dream concept. I added in stage directions, but sudden actions didn't really occur. It was a conversation at a dinner table. I do prefer the second story because it showed more emotion. Although, I did notice that in the dream imagery, there was no scenery. Typically my dreams are centered on the main characters; there is no bystanders that don't play a direct role. The surroundings are minimal, and lack movement.

Have you ever woken up from a dream and not been able to figure out if it was a dream or if it actually happened? That happens to me all the time, and it reminded me of you comment about dreams not feeling like dreams.

I constantly confuse my dreams with reality, sometimes it gets really frustrating. I constantly am asking my friends if they remember moments that never actually happened in reality. There are so many moments that are ambiguous as to if they actually happened or not.

Ok so first off your writing and darbyb's comment reminded of a dream I had once. My alarm clock went off and I decided to get ten more minutes so I dozed off again. I dreamed that I was getting ready. I felt like I was eating (which I learned was being made downstairs while I was sleeping) toast, I brushed my teeth and freshened up. I grabbed my backpack and got to the door and when I opened the door I woke up. I was very close to being late to school that day because I thought I was up it was so weird. Oh yes and I am not a kid lover either, babies. I think toddlers are adorable, I guess it's the fact babies scream, drool, and all that. There are lots of older children that need good homes :)
