I do this all the time and was thrilled when to see the Group Shot research.microsoft.com/projects/GroupShot/ demo in BillG's keynote at CES. I downloaded Group Shot from Microsoft Research and started swapping faces in my favorite family shots. This is the must have app for anyone shooting family photos.
