HomePlanet Special: Debt & Climate Change - a Christian & Islamic perspective
This show was aired on Unity FM, a Muslim-led community radio station in Birmingham, UK. It was a radio version of a 'duo-talk' that David Wetton (co-chair Jubilee Debt Campaign Birmingham) and Rianne ten Veen did at the occassion of th 10th anniversary of the JDC G8 human chain to call on G8 leaders to 'drop the debt', the illegimitate debts of many of the poorest countries. As many of these countries now also suffer from the consequences fo climate change (and the 2 issues impact on one another), we thought it a timely topic. These intros were again given at 'Faith In Our Environment' as organised by Birmingham Friends of the Earth and the Faith Leaders in Birmingham.
