Your confirmation e-mail may have been incorrectly flagged as spam by your e-mail program, and sent to your junk e-mail folder. To find the e-mail, check your junk mail folder.

Multi drag and drop requires an ActiveX control to be installed. Accept the installation of the drag and drop control to use this feature.

Not all video file types will display in the player. To view some video files, you may need to install a different video player on your compatible PC. We are constantly working to add more file types to the list of videos that play on Ovi.

The flash player cannot play files, such as MP3s, normally when encoded at a rate that is not a multiple of 11 kHz (11, 22, 33, etc). Files encoded at other rates will likely play too fast. The solution is to encode your files again at a rate that is a multiple of 11 kHz.

Both Ovi members and non-members are able to view or contribute to your public and private albums. However, Ovi requires cookies to access private information, including private albums and private media. Instruct your non-member friend to accept cookies to access your shared media.

Note: Non-member participants can contribute (upload via the web or email) without needing to sign up. However, a person does need to sign up to add comments.

We have a system in place to identify outgoing e-mails that bounce (misspelled email addresses or closed accounts are the most likely culprits) and disable them from receiving future e-mail. Please us an alternate address to send e-mails and share links.

If you add slideshows to, for example, a web site or blog, the slideshows play in the order they were posted (newest first). To reorder the media, do the following:

Add &sort=x to the web address in the snippet.

sort=1 — date added (newest first)
sort=2 — date added (oldest first)
sort=3 — date created (newest first)
sort=4 — date created (oldest first)
sort=5 — custom sort (as sorted by the album owner)

If you want your audio files to play automatically when your web page loads, upload your MP3 file to Ovi, and add &autoplay=true to the web address in the snippet.

Auto-play for video files is not currently available.

A Nokia account gives access to most Nokia services with one user name and password.
