Ayar Inti is a friend and fellow busker from both Pike Place and Pacific Place Mall. He Performs with a small guitar and pan flutes mounted around his neck. On New Years Eve a group of 8 kids grabbed his tips and ran off, when he tried to get them back one of the kids tripped him from behind. The police were called and a report was taken. I had performed earlier that night and this was my first time to see him since the incident. He saw my stuff seemingly by itself and stopped to make sure it was alright, but I was just across the street for a second to see who else was playing further down the block.

I first met Alfy well over a year ago on this very corner. I showed to perform today and got in line. He's been taking lessons and it definitely showed since the last time I saw him. Working through an Eric Clapton book he was playing Layla for me. I went into Local Color and got him some hot coco because it was pretty cold today and I thought it might be a good way to get to play a little sooner. ;)

I had the pleasure of performing for one of my favorite fans named Mayfield. He is the son of a man and friend that I highly respect. Last time I saw this little guy he counted me and his father off in a jam session in pajamas, "and a one, and a two, and a one two three four", he lead us on the trumpet while Brion played the harmonica and I played guitar. So tonight when I saw them and he started dancing I realized why I brought the new little hula hoop with me. It was for Mayfield.
