In this interview Brent interviews Dr. Parris Kidd, PhD about inflammation. Dr. Kidd discusses the role of inflammation in the disease process of many degenerative health conditions including cardiovascular disease, stroke, arthritis, cancer, and musculoskeletal pain. He also discusses the healthy and necessary role that a certain level of inflammation plays in the human body.

Dr. Kidd explains the signs and symptoms of excess inflammation and discusses some of the laboratory tests to help identify and monitor inflammation. He explains how a test called CRP can be extremely useful in monitoring inflammation for people with chronic disease.
