this could be polar as in the weather at the south pole...
it could be bi-polar.... as in ups and downs
it could be magnetic poles... (turning one away...) (sure that is a stretch)

I reworked some lines.. and changed the background to something a bit more crisp... so ones eyes can follow the action. This was done in pencil crayon and digital... It was rather fun... Actually I had another person.. but I lost the pulling of the suspenders , when the piece was too busy... so... he went. Maybe I will use him in another piece.

collage and mixed media. I wanted to show some humour with the frog sitting safely watching the alligator. Hopefully this was achieved. I wonder if frogs see in two dimensions or 3?

This cat was a joy to construct. It was partly collage, part digital. My computer actually froze and I lost a lot of work but
managed to skip the exploring steps as I knew exactly what I was aiming for. The reason for my subject? Not sure about you but cats seem to be born to spy and slink and are ever watchful and curious. Comments are appreciated and please take a gander at my other Illustration friday submition for "spy".

reworked the background... and lightened the area behind the coffee pot and cup.. Added more detail to the coffeepot and cup as well...
