Mandi is doing great with him and I wish I could do more, but without the anatomy there isn't much I can do for him.

Derek is 20 days old as of the 20th (I'm glad his B-day is gonna be easy to remember). Call Mandi lots and email if you want anything. I missed by trowing my arrow low and left, I didn't have a second arrow ready for a second chance shot, and I didn't have my call set for a doe grunt and it was partially frozen stiff. This was a humbling day in the woods and I'm a little wiser afterwards. I guess we all miss now and then, but it's a bitter pill to swallow. I guess this will just encourage me to shoot better next year.

On a good note; it was a great stand. I saw a lot of action out of the same stand all year. With a recurve you have to wait for a close shot like this one and they seem to be far and few between when your hunting in deep woods like here is PA. Great season over-all and I'm a better hunter because of my failures. I'll keep taping and you should do the same. I hope you all get out there and I hope I don't see you out there. Have a great hunt.

<media:group>
</media:group>
Scott Missing

This clip should be titled "What Not To Do".
