I thought the kangroos would be mean and ill-tempered but they were so nice and tame.  Maybe these are smaller than some of the others? There is so much diversity.  At the same elevation as the glacier there is rain forest (not seen here).  It was a nice clear day but still pretty chilly on the glacier.
