OK, this thing is starting to get interesting. Doepfer A-112 Sampler/Wavetable Oscillator.
A-143-1 Complex Envelope Generator as clock. Also used A-145 LFO, MFB dual LFO
and Harvestman Polivoks VCF

Another run at this thing. Sample and Hold sequence as source. Re-triggered MFB
modulating sample rate/delay time. Quirky!!

Trying to unlock the secrets of the Doepfer A-112 VC Sampler/Wavetable Oscillator.
Two separate passes so weird I figured I'd combine them!
Also used are the A-155 Analog /Trigger Sequencer, A-145 LFO, MFB Dual LFO
and Harvestman Polivoks VCF.

GLITCHY ECHO AS CV JAM

Slow square wave from LFO being used as sort of the "measure".
That's being fed into a Guyatone digital delay to create the beat "divisions".
The audio from the choppy echo is fed into CV in on a Doepfer Low Pass Gate.
A high sine wave from a self oscillating Polivoks is fed to audio in of LPG.
Audio out of LPG is fed into Doepfer 189-1 Bit Cruncher.
Sine or sawtooth from the starting LFO is fed through an attenuator
to CV in of sample rate on a 189-1bit cruncher. I make small adjustments on the
attenuator to vary the CV to sample rate, delay time on Guyatone,
LFO speed and........TADAAA!!!! That that make any sense?
I actually really like listening to this one.

Wetterberg's challange: do a single recording (in mono) of your modular making as big/wide/mad a sound as possible. Emphasis on hugeness, less on sequencing/change, if you follow me? We want droney-ness, of course big shit can't be done properly completely without modulation (imo).
no post-processing, everything has to happen "in the box"

I like 1 the most. For some reason it makes me think of post-apocalyptic sci-fi. I can picture a slow rising camera pan of a city in ruins surrounded by wastelands with this playing in the background.

The Bugbrand Devices - Workshop Oscillator Machine. Used here as a modulation

303 VS EURO 1

OK, so I know a TR-303 is hard to emulate EXACTLY.
I have a friend's 303 on loan and I've never messed with on before.
So here's the 303 first, then the Euro, then 303 twisting knobs,
then Euro twisting knobs and adding in extra 2600 oscillator in
and finally all together!!!

303 gate and CV out to:
A-110 VCO and 2600 VCO
A-140 ADSR > model 25 VCA
A-143-1 > Harvestman Polivoks VCF
plus a couple of attenuators.

The 303 is awesome and I know a big part of it's appeal is it's
small package, vintage-ness, classic-ness and it's accidental
interface that can yield happy accidents. I have to say though
that really enjoyed all the options I had to tweek the sound on
my modular. Not a masterpiece, just an experiment...........
