NMFA, the Nokia Filmmaking Awards bringing together mobile technology and filmmaking.

First NMFA has been held on 2008 and winner was revealed during Pangea Day, on May 10th.

Life Routes engages disadvantaged and at-risk youth, teaches key life skills and provides opportunities for a better future. About 18 500 young people have benefited from the project since 2004. As part of a storytelling activity, Life Routes participants have documented and shared their experiences and personal journeys. Nokia’s partners are the National Children’s Bureau and the International Youth Foundation.

Directors of Change combines youth-made documentary films and a resource guide to help educators bring social issues alive in the classroom. The program aims to create a generation of globally aware, socially engaged youth who are equipped to take action in their own communities and contribute to the lives of their disadvantaged peers.
